SPEAKING

My proposal for speaking is using the CHATTERPIX application. It is a very fun application to use with the little ones, and the not so small ones, and so they are not so ashamed to speak in English. The app only allows them to record 30 seconds.

An activity could be a brief description of an animal, without stating its name, using an image that does not relate to it. The videos would be shown in class so classmates can guess what animal it is.
I leave you a video so you can see how the application works.

  1. Good Morning Angèlica,
I love this activity for student, they could work the speaking just by using this app.
I have'nt heart about CHATTERPIX and I definitely I will include in my class! It is seems easy to use so we can include as a team play.

Thank you for sharing this with us

    1. Thanks Encarna,
I discovered this app a year ago (when we were at home) and used it with almost every student from 1st grade to 4th grade. They liked a lot, had a great time and practiced speaking. And I usually used it to explain homework, they were very attentive and looking forward to receiving the next video.
      I hope you enjoy it.

  2. Good morning Angelica,

First of all, congratulations for your blog. I like a lot: structure, colors…even the typrography is original!

I have commented in this post because I used a similar app in other signature and I fell in love with. It is very simple but I know kids like a lot. Besides, it can be very useful for kids with learning disabilities…to improve oral communication and relationship with other classmates.

Now, I will continue seeing your other posts ;)

    Greetings,

  3. Good afternoon Angelica,
I really like this app, I didn't know it and it's so easy to use. I'm finishing my blog and my last task is the speaking, so I think i'm going to use it, I found it a funny way to create your own characters and make them to seem real! I'm sure children will love it! Thank so much for share it!
